Sagar Watch News/Lokayukta Police Jabalpur has caught the employment assistant of Trikhala Gram Panchayat of Kherlanji Janpad Panchayat of Balaghat district red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10 thousand.

The employment assistant had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the beneficiary in exchange for depositing the third installment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the bank account and geo-tagging it.

Lokayukta DSP Dilip Jharbade said that Employment Assistant Jaychandra Bisen had demanded Rs 10,000 in the name of the father of the complainant Krishna Choudhary to deposit the third installment for the construction of a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the account and to do Geo Tech. By the complainant Complaint about this was made in Lokayukta.

Lokayukta team today arrested the employment assistant red-handed while taking bribe of Rs 10,000 in Amai Panchayat. Staff including Dilip Jhadwade, DSP Inspector Swapnil Das Bhupendra Dewan were involved in this action.

Sagar Watch News/ Bhopal Lokayukta Police (Bhopal Lokayukta Team) has caught Santosh Kumar Dubey, a senior officer posted in the Fisheries Department of Vidisha, red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 50 thousand. He had asked for a bribe from a fish seller in exchange for releasing the grant money given to fish sellers by the government.

According to the information, on 23 February 2024, the complainant Hariram Raikwar, resident of Freeganj Mohalla Ganjbasoda, had complained before the Superintendent of Police, Bhopal Division. He told that he and his family are engaged in selling fish. Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Yojana, the government gives grant money to fish sellers.

In the name of his wife Rani Bai Raikwar, an application was made to the Fisheries Department, Vidisha, regarding the purchase of a goods carriage auto and providing assistance along with the purchase receipt as per the government scheme.

Assistant Director Fisheries Department, Vidisha, Santosh Dubey was demanding Rs 50,000 as bribe out of the total amount of Rs 1,80,000 given under the government scheme. The complaint was verified by the Superintendent of Police.

After finding the facts mentioned in the complaint to be true, the Lokayukta team on Monday caught Santosh Dubey, Assistant Director, Fisheries Department, Vidisha, red handed while taking Rs 50,000 from the complainant Hariram Raikwar.

Sagar Watch/ The team of EOW Sagar and Jabalpur caught a sub engineer of Batiagarh Janpad Panchayat of Damoh district red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 25 thousand. The sub-engineer had demanded bribe from the Panchayat Secretary in exchange for issuing the evaluation report of the drain construction.

In the complaint lodged by Kaithora Gram Panchayat Secretary Jittu Thakur against Batiagarh District Panchayat Deputy Engineer Sitaram Kori in the EOW office, it was told that the accused had asked for bribe in exchange for issuing the evaluation report of the drain construction work. 

After investigating the complaint today, the joint team of EOW Sagar and Jabalpur arrested Deputy Engineer Sitaram Kori red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 25 thousand at Batiagarh District Panchayat Office on Monday. The sub-engineer had asked for a bribe of Rs 90 thousand. He was caught taking the first installment of Rs 25 thousand.

Inspector Uma Naval Arya of EOW Sagar (Economic Offenses Wing) said that Deputy Engineer Sitaram Kori posted in Batiagarh District Panchayat had asked for a bribe of Rs 90 thousand for the evaluation of drain construction work in Kaithora Gram Panchayat. While taking the first installment of Rs 25 thousand, Sitaram Kori was arrested red handed.
