In view of the Lok Sabha elections, offices should be kept open on government holidays. So that the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi and the Chief Electoral Officer can be quickly received and followed.

👉The District Election Officer and Collector have said that the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct should be strictly followed in the district. Propaganda material should be immediately removed from government property in the eight assemblies of the district in urban and rural areas.

👉During the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 (Model Code of Conduct), no political party will be allowed to organize meetings in the government residences, meeting rooms and circuit houses, rest houses and guest houses located in the district.

👉With the release of the program for Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha General Election 2024, candidates have been asked to open new bank accounts. It is mandatory for the candidates to provide separate bank account information along with submitting the nomination papers,  to maintain the information about the expenditure to be incurred for the election. 

👉The use of religious institutions or their funds for promoting and promoting any activity that benefits any political party will be completely prohibited. If found guilty of the offense of violation, they may face imprisonment for a term up to 5 years and a fine up to Rs 10,000.

👉With the announcement of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, election activities have increased in the district. During this period, in order to maintain public peace and public safety, there will be a ban on use of loudspeakers and display of weapons. Also, rallies and processions with convoys of unlimited number of vehicles will be banned.
