Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that Madhya Pradesh will continue to achieve new heights of development. Development projects and works will make Madhya Pradesh a developed state and make life easier for the people.

The projects will promote investment, jobs and self-employment opportunities. Prime Minister Shri Modi was virtually addressing the ‘Vikasit Bharat-Vikasit Madhya Pradesh’ programme at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. 

Mohan Yadav inaugurated the programmme.

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that to build a developed Madhya Pradesh, the double engine government of the Center and the State is giving more emphasis on agriculture, industry and tourism. 

Bhoomi pujan of three projects on Narmada river will not only solve the problem of drinking water but ensure irrigation in the tribal areas. 

A new revolution seems to be taking place in the field of irrigation in Madhya Pradesh. The Ken-Betwa Link Project is going to change the lives of lakhs of families of Bundelkhand

In the first 10 years before 2014, 40 lakh hectares of land was brought under micro irrigation, but in the last 10 years, 90 lakh hectares of land has been brought under micro irrigation.

Cyber​​Tehsil to save time and money of rural families

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that Cyber ​​Tehsil is being inaugurated in the state. Through Cyber ​​Tehsil, land transfer registry and other matters will be resolved promptly through digital means. 

This will save both time and money of rural families. Rural families will invest this time and money in agriculture and other related employment. This will also boost their income and life will become easier.

Vikramotsav a celebration of our glorious heritage

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that Vikramotsav is a celebration of our glorious heritage and development. This is a proof to how rich heritage and development works are celebrated simultaneously. 

Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal, has been the center of Vedic calculations in the whole world. Recollecting the ancient rich history, the world’s first Vikramaditya Vedic Clock is being installed in Ujjain. This is not only an opportunity to remember our rich past but also a chance to witness the evolution of India.

Invest  crores for storing 700 lakh MT grains

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that the storage of grains is a major problem of farmers. To solve this problem, the biggest storage plan is being worked on. 

The government will invest more than Rs. 1.25 lakh crore for storing about 700 lakh metric tons of grains, so that farmers will get increased and fair prices for their crops.

Villages will be made self-reliant

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that the government is laying emphasis more on making villages self-reliant. Only self-reliant villages will create a self-reliant state and a self-reliant country. 

For this, more emphasis is being laid on the expansion of cooperatives in the country. Lakhs of cooperative societies are being formed in the villages. 

Efforts are being made to increase the income of farmers through farming, animal husbandry, poultry, fish farming and other means. Farmers are being provided a permanent solution to their land ownership and other ownership related problems through the PM Swamitva Yojana. 

Madhya Pradesh is doing good work under the Swamitva Yojana. Cent per cent survey of the villages of the state has been conducted through drones. 

More than 20 lakh ownership cards have been distributed so far. By using these ownership cards, poor families will be saved from many types of disputes.


Create new opportunities for employment

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that it is Modi’s resolve to create new opportunities for investment and employment in the state. In the coming time, Madhya Pradesh will be included among the major industrial states of the country. 

Madhya Pradesh is a major pillar of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India. Mega Laser and Footwear Cluster in Sitapur, Morena, Readymade Garment Industry Park in Indore, expansion of Industrial Park in Mandsaur and new construction of Dhar Industrial Park, are major steps in this direction. 

Madhya Pradesh has an old tradition of making toys, but in olden times our markets and homes were filled with foreign made toys. The government provided assistance to traditional toy manufacturing families in the country under the Vishwakarma Yojana, due to which the import of toys in India reduced. Currently more than import, we are exporting more toys. 

This is a good opportunity for Budhni toy manufacturers. Modi is also responsible for promoting the country’s art and skills. When I gift items made in cottage industries to foreign guests, I try my best to promote their art and skills.

MP ajab hai, sabse gazab hai

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that India’s repute has increased in the whole world in the last 10 years. Indians are viewed with respect. This increased credibility of India has direct benefits in the field of investment and tourism. 

Today more and more people want to come to India. If you come to India, it is natural to visit Madhya Pradesh, because ‘MP ajab hai, Sabse gazab hai’. 

In the last few years, there has been a huge increase in the number of devotees at Mamleshwar, Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar. This number will increase further with the Ekatm Dham being constructed in Omkareshwar in the memory of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. 

Simhastha Kumbh is going to be held in 2028. The construction of a four-lane road from Ichhapur to Omkareshwar in Indore will provide more convenience to devotees. 

Recently, 30 railway stations of the state are being rebuilt to further strengthen connectivity. If connectivity improves, its direct benefits can be seen in all sectors like agriculture, industry, tourism etc.

Coming 5 years will witness empowerment of women

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that the last 10 years have been the years of rise of women power. Modi had guaranteed that sincere efforts would be made to remove every inconvenience and suffering from the lives of women. 

Continuing these efforts, it is believed that the coming 5 years will be the years of unprecedented empowerment of our women. In the coming years, many Lakhpati Didis will be seen in every village. 

Rural women will bring about a new revolution in farming by making Namo Drone Didis. There will be unprecedented improvement in the financial condition of women.

Prime Minister Shri Modi expressed grief over the Dindori road accident. He expressed condolence to the families of the dead and injured. He said that he stands with the families of Madhya Pradesh in this hour of grief.

Irrigation facility is a big achievement– CM 

While giving the welcome address, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that on behalf of the eight and a half crore people of Madhya Pradesh, I welcome Prime Minister Shri Modi. 

The double engine government is reaching new heights of development. Increased irrigation facility in the agriculture production sector in the state is a major achievement. 

Madhya Pradesh has also bagged the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project. Ken-Betwa project is in the final stage, which will be completed soon and will benefit the farmers in the field of irrigation. Innovative programmes are continuously taking place in the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Series of development to continue

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that an industrial conclave is being organized in the state for employment and development. Ujjain regional summit is going to be held, due to which a new series of industries will start in the state. 

Religious tourism facilities are being enhanced in the state. Ujjain, the city of time calculation, has been known for its astronomical knowledge since ancient times. 

The amazing Vikramaditya Vedic clock is starting today. Our progress in the field of good governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi has made us the cynosure of all eyes. We will continue to maintain the order of development in the state.

Vikramaditya Vedic Clock dedicated in Ujjain

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually dedicated and laid the foundation of many development projects worth more than Rs 17 thousand crore in Madhya Pradesh. 

These include important sectors like irrigation, electricity, roads, railways, water supply, coal and industry. Prime Minister Shri Modi launched the Cyber​​Tehsil Project in Madhya Pradesh. He also dedicated the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock in Ujjain.

Large number of citizens join programme

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Revenue Minister Shri Karan Singh Verma, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silawat, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Smt. Krishna Gaur, MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, MP Shri V.D. Sharma, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Smt. Malti Rai and other public representatives and a large number of citizens were present in the programme. 

More than 15 lakh people from 230 assembly constituencies participated virtually in the programme through video conferencing. A short video film on the Vikas Gatha of Madhya Pradesh was also shown in the programme.
