Today being the day of voting in Surkhi, almost all the newspapers have made the news related to the election their first headlines. Apart from this, news focused on Covid-19 are also featured prominently.

In the action taken by the district administration's FST team, the news of seizure of cash was seen in all newspapers except Navdunia. However, the data on the value of the amount seized appeared differently in the newspapers.

According to the news of Navbharat, Rs 7 lakh was seized from three different persons, while Dainik Aacharan and Dainik Bhaskar had reported the cash of Rs 5 lakh in two separate actions. Dainik Sagar Dinkar has reported the seizure of only Rs 3 lakh.

The news related to the Surkhi by-election has been printed with different headings. Sagar Dinkar said "more than two lakh voters will choose their MLA in Surkhi", Navbharat says "Surkhi verdict will be closed in EVM", Daily Evening Mirror made collector's instruction "Do not take any kind of Surkhi by-election Negligence ”as his news headline. While Navdunia described the Surkhi by-election as a "mahaygya"  of democracy and said that people will vote for development today, Dainik Bhaskar, while telling the people as supreme, published this news from the very interesting title "Today you are the government, decide the future of Surkhi"  as its first headlines.

The news of the review meeting of the Municipal Corporation's recovery work has also been published by all the newspapers. This news has been published by Navbharat and Navdunia with similar headlines "Corporation was able to recover one and a half crores out of 15 crores respectively" and "15 crores outstanding on the city, recovery only one and a half crores". Whereas the Dainik Aacharan has published the title "Exemption of surcharge to be paid by the corporation till 31 December". However, this news of mass publicity did not appear on Dainik Bhaskar's city page.

In the news related to Covid-19, daily Navdunia has published news questioning the functioning of all departments of administration connected with Covid management. Titled "Corona Management, No Sampling No Positive, More Sampling More Positive", with English headline newspaper reported that earlier one to one and a half thousand samples were being taken daily for the screening of Covid-19 infection, this number has now come down to a few dozen It is because of this that positive patients are coming out less and making the public feel that Corona is leaving.

The Dainik Aacharan has been reported on the alert issued by the Railway Department regarding Corona infection strictly following the guidelines of Covid19 and taking action against the violators like sending them to jail. Dainik Bhaskar has published news on the intention of the state government to open schools after November 15 on the corona infection.

The Dainik Aacharan has given news related to the election of the President of America giving global concern to the by-election of the state. It has been told in the news that on Tuesday, voting is not only about the government of Madhya Pradesh but also for the decision of the President of America. 

Dainik Evening Mirror has published news of the sighting of crocodiles in the Sukhchain river of Surkhi and the forest department is oblivious about it, while Dainik Bhaskar has published the news of the Jammu-Tawi weekly passenger train starting from Sagar from 10 November. 

Apart from this, important information related to the by-election has also been made part of the news as a response to the question of voters asked in connection with the Surkhi by-election.

FOLLOW-UP

News related to the crackdown by the police in connection with IPL betting is no longer visible in the newspapers. Apart from this, the news of smart city schemes is seen in newspapers. But the wait of the readers to read the news highlighting the non-smart works spread on the streets of the smart city management is not over yet.
